Where Notion shines
Notion is a workspace for almost anything: notes, docs, wikis, databases and projects, shared with a team or just for you. Databases can hold tasks with subtasks, dependencies and your own properties, and there are templates for every kind of planner people dream up.
Notion Calendar is a separate free app that connects your Google, Outlook and iCloud calendars and shows your Notion tasks and dates next to your events. Notion runs on the web, Mac, Windows, iPhone, iPad and Android. Have a look at notion.com.
If you want one place for notes, projects and docs, Notion is excellent.
Where Yoodoo is different
Notion gives you building blocks. Yoodoo gives you a planner that’s already built, for ADHD brains.
Open it and your day is a timeline: tasks as real blocks of time around your meetings, with the free gaps right there. Ask Yoodoo plans your day when you just say it. Yoodoo nudges you when it’s time, and can ring like an alarm for the things that really matter. The app blocker locks the apps that eat your mornings. We couldn’t find a blocker in Notion.
What Yoodoo doesn’t do is notes, docs or team projects. Keep Notion for those.
When your day falls apart
A Notion planner holds what you planned. When the day goes sideways, it’s up to you to update it, and on a bad day, that’s the bit that doesn’t happen.
Fix my day notices when something runs over or doesn’t start, asks one question, and fits the rest of today around what really happened. Meetings and locked things stay put. Your most important task is protected. What doesn’t fit goes to Anytime or tomorrow. One tap, in Lite.
Price
Notion has a free plan. Plus is $11.99 a month or $119.99 a year on the US App Store, and Business costs more. Notion AI is a limited trial on Free and Plus. Notion Calendar is free.
Yoodoo Pro is $59.99 a year (with 7 days free), $7.99 a month, or $149.99 once. After the trial, Lite is free for good, with the timeline’s Day view, Fix my day and the focus timer. See Pro.
